The lake is located in a Peaceful area in the "desert". Due to the past years drought the lake is very low as of February 2016 ! Better to be visited during summer months when the weather is warmer. They built a Zip line close to the entrance, it is not very long, closed during the winter. You can camp,... More

Never again!! The lake is 13percent full... So about 85% empty. You would think that customer service would be there priority but that was not the case. We paid about $275 for 3 night stay, no where in there website did it state showers were extra but they were. Unfortunately it was not included on our over priced stay. They... More

We spent the 13-15th at Yuba. We had dogs (so did everyone else) and it was great for them. The lake was windy, choppy and pretty chilly, but it IS June. Nice picnicing spot while traveling down I-15. Entrance fee is required to use the facilities. Fishing, swimming in warmer months. Ices over during winter months. No services other than restrooms.

We go here yearly and find a great place to park under the trees. Then we can walk on the sandy shore to swim or get in the boat to ride around. Great fun.
