Florida native here, This was my fourth encounter with snow. I purchased a three day training course (2 hrs each time so you can practice after). I didn’t even know how to tie my boots correctly or put them into bindings. My fiancé and I...More

Very good ski area with plentiful powder in winter (typically ~500in/yr.). Main knock is vertical is mostly less than 2K. Yet, it has nice variety. Ability to ski solitude with a combined pass is a very nice plus. Restaurants can get a little crowded, still...More

Brighton is beautiful and excellent place for skiing with reasonable budget. It is best suited for groups and families. It i snot the highest or steepest, and may not be the choice for skilled extreme thrill seeker, like Snowbird or Alta. Very good place anyhow.

Lake Mary and lake Catherine are great hikes during the summer. The skiing is also excellent during the winter.

3 of us ride and my wife skis... there is a wonderful mix of blues and greens that my wife (55 intermediate) enjoyed and the kids (20's advanced) were able to spin off into the woods and have a blast.
