Had a little time to spare, stopped by and were pleased with the items on display as well as the explanations of the Anasazi life. A reconstructed hole dwelling, very nice. One of the most beautiful collections of Native jewelry you will find in such...More

Having just come from Chaco Canyon, we are a bit biased. The museum itself offers some valuable information, but the ancestral Pueblo ruins are rather unremarkable. There is a 25 minute video which we didn't watch, so I can't comment on that. Staff friendly but...More

Most exhibits are easily understood by children of reading age. This would be a good place to begin a child's education about the native people of the SW. There is an outdoor component that has a replica dwelling as well as ruins.

Lots to see and learn as you look at artifacts used by the ancient Indian peoples who lived in the area. Indoor and outdoor displays are good.

In Escalante territory, I've stopped here a couple of times over the past 5 years. Just to browse the exhibits and review what the original village site might have looked like. Nice displays in the museum. Sometimes there's a docent to take you around.

Yes, it would easily fit in the car park. I seem to recall a couple of RVs there at the time we visited. Richard
