We wanted a half-day private tour of the famous Bears Ears National Monument. This company provided just what we wanted. Get Elle as your guide and driver. She was born in the area, has studied the ancient people who lived here, and was a font of information. She also drives a jeep like an old Marine sergeant. And she was very considerate of me, because I use a cane and don't get around well.

Amazing! Took my family to Bluff Dwellings Resort (such a great place to stay) and we did 2 day trips with Wild Adventures. Our first day we rafted the San Juan river and went on a hummer ride. The rafting was very peaceful, being on the water next to the cliffs was so cool. Seeing the history of the natives and their ruins from 600AD was mind blowing. Of course the hummer ride home was my 8yr old's favorite part.

The second day we went with our guide Dallen to go canyoneering at Blarney. That was about as awesome as a 5 mile hike can get ... I didn't know there were landscapes out there like that. We hiked up to the top of some cliff/mesa, and then repelled down 3 times and down climbed through the slot canyons .. such an amazing experience!

My husband and I toured the Bears Ears Monument with Elle as our guide. Since she was from nearby Blanding, she was very familiar with the area. She was informative, thoughtful, and funny. I would request her if I went on another Wild Expeditions excursion.

We did the River, Ruins, and Hummer tour and loved that it offers a little bit of everything. The river rafting was so beautiful and we were the only ones on the water. It was so cool to see the ruins and petroglyphs, and the kids especially loved the Hummer ride!

Ours was a family & friends 7 day raft and rubber kayak trip down the San Juan River. The Guides (Marley, Kevin and Rachel) were WONDERFUL ! They were easy to be with and very knowledgeable about the cultural history and geology of the area. Saw great ancient Puebloan dwellings and petroglyph images. The company provided excellent tents, sleeping bags and waterproof containers. Food was also excellent. An unforgettable life experience!

This was a great way to see the area, ruins & petroglyphs. We did the one day trip that was a River rafts & then a hummer ride to visit various sites. Was was our River guide & he did a terrific job of keeping us safe & educating us. Ian was our driver and as a Navajo, he provided a tremendous amount of information and perspective.
We were really happy we chose this trip for both the entertainment and education aspects

My husband and I did the half day canyoneering expedition and it was a great intro to rappelling and canyoneering!! It was so much fun that we are considering doing it more often in our home town. Jared was such a good teacher that we always felt confident and safe. 100% would recommend!

My son and I had a terrific time on the kayak/Hummer expedition. Wes and Zach were excellent guides. Wes was on the river with us and always helpful and fun to talk with. The pace of the river was just fast enough to make it exciting and relaxing at the same time. The scenery is awesome. The walk up to the ruins was another plus, and the ride back up the river in the Hummer was crazy fun. This was a highlight of our weeklong trip in Southern Utah.

I brought a group of 14 students from Westminster College in SLC to experience the Navajo (Diné) and Hopi Nations. As part of this May Term experience, we have a one day river trip where they learn about the river, land and the ancestral peoples who once lived there. I want to give a shout out to two of our guides that are exceptional-Ian (Diné) and Raquel (Diné). My students learned so much about their culture and lived experiences. I do want to encourage the owners of this company to change the term "ruin" to "ancestral Pueblan dwelling" on their advertising and with their guides. I noticed that the Diné guides using this more respectful term but the white guides did not. Also, it would be great if they strongly encouraged visitors to stay out of the River House.
