I actually stopped here because they advertised free admission and nice bathrooms. My intended few minutes turned into an hour plus as I was fascinated with the site. Best of all, a docent was there, dressed in historical clothing, and we had a great 15...More

I had noticed this site on other visits just passing thru, this time I stopped and viewed everything there. Was an education in the 1880 Mormon settlement.

This was a really good visit, with free entry and extremely knowledgeable guides. Lots of information boards on the exhibits, and a great gift shop.

Very well arranged site. We stopped and had a picnic at shaded tables. We then spent an hour visiting the reproduction homes with original furnishings and well documented stories of the pioneers lives. Highly recommend. Unfortunately the ship and inside exhibits were closed on Sunday.

Take a hour to browse this place, inside and out - the films shown about the incredible Hole-in-the-Rock pioneers is amazing and inspiring.

A very well presented history of what it took to cross the arduous terrain to set up a new town which is now called Bluff. When they set out they thought it would take 6 weeks but it ended up taking 6 months.
