We were checking out the Eagle Point Ski Area during the summer, and spent a day in the mountains around that locale. These are heavily forested, high, and remote mountains. We didn't stop to fish, but there is fishing in the area. We ended up...More

These mountains are fun to explore. I found some topaz crystals up toward the top of the pass. Delano peak is also fun to climb.

We drove up into the Tushar Mountains after it had rained, and snowed in the highest elevations. Nevertheless, the scenery was breathtaking!

Remote and beautiful, many options - lakes loop, hikes, etc. Just be careful, as they are so deserted - hardly any people, but a lot of wildlife.
