We didn't do the tour but caught up with the group in the tasting room. Educational and interesting presentation of oils, the "oil guy" is quite a character. Didn't expect the wine tasting or the quality of the wines, which were quite good. Most olive oil is imported so this place is one of a kind and definitely worth a... More

They grow and press olive oil and a little wine. The owners were very helpful, took us out to the olive tree grove to take pics. We liked their estate olive oil, and bought a bottle. They sell 6 varieties of wine. We tasted them, like them, and bought 2 varieties. Nice place to go.

Olives are pressed right there on the ranch in their frantoio. Jack talks passionately about growing olives!

I will preface this by saying that I'm a bit of a wine snob. I haven't ever really felt like Texas' crops make the right flavors. However, I did buy a bottle of their dry rosé wine for some summertime patio sipping. Bella Vista's olive groves and products are simply amazing! I didn't realize that Texas provided the right climate... More

The owner loves his olive groves and vineyards. He's also a historian and will relate the history of olives and grape vines. You can see where the olive oil is produced and purchase some to take home. A fun entertaining and educational stop in Wimberley

This was a really neat place! The owner pretty much gave us the history of olive oil, but did it in a very captivating way! We were able to taste the olive oils and wine he makes there, and I could not get over the difference in taste of the cheap degraded stuff you buy in stores! Absolutely fabulous oils!... More

After visiting the Olive Oil facility in Dripping Springs this place was a little disappointing. It is much older and there was only one person in the tasting room with only one table for samples. There were two other couples inside when we arrived so the space was a little cramped. We felt as if we were an inconvenience to... More

We have been to Bella Vista a couple of times but not for a couple of years. I am very delinquent in writing this review. But, we bought an olive tree and it has grown like crazy so we often think about the ranch. That being said, our tree is not getting any olives so we plan to go back... More

This was our first tour of this type. Very informative, most of the tour consists of the host talking. Once you get past that and into the orchard it gets better, with the best part of course at the end, the TASTING! Yummy olives, olive oils and of course the WINE!

The olives and extra virgin olive oil were delicious. We enjoyed the wines as well. Definitely worth the drive away from town.
