This is the best place to go on a hot Texas day. Very clean. Everyone is just happy to be cool! There is a nice picnic area. Great swings!

A beautiful spot for a swim, although it's said that the owner of nearby land has allowed no trespassing signs to be posted all over the rocks!

We were the in mid September. Still warm, but swimming hole was closed for the season. The park is very nice but you can see it all in 15 minutes.

Clean, green, mostly shaded. The swimming hole is clean with deep and shallow areas and two rope (chain) swings - a low one and a higher one. There is a large grass area and multiple concrete picnic tables with stone benches. It's a good thing...More

Get there early or come much later in the day to get in and avoid lines during the weekends. The water was cold, the rope swings were fun, and the cypress trees were beautiful.

We had a picnic lunch and spent an afternoon swimming and floating on our tubes. The creek is shadowed by large cypress trees on both sides so there was protection from the sun. There are a couple of rope swings to enjoy and the cold...More
