This is a beautiful natural preserve very close to the city of Wimberly. It is spacious with soccer field, basketball, playgrounds, picnic areas, and pavilion. We went there just to hike around and became totally lost. Trails have these markers, but you are not sure which trail you are on plus the map does not differentiate Road from trail. We... More

Lovely park with a pretty river. It would be super fun in the summer when you could swim. The park is well maintained with hiking trails and parking areas.

I went to the park with some friends from out of town. We loved the park and found the crystal clear blue water just amazing. We went off season so the park was empty, but we could imagine how crowded it could get in the summer. Nonetheless, it is a place well worth visiting.

I've been enjoying Blue Hole for over 60 years. Crystal clear water, huge beautiful Cypress Trees and nice picnic facilities.

When in town, we always visit Blue hole. Lots of trees to see. Hiking trails, nice park for families traveling with kids.

It's a nice little park area, beautiful crystal clear water river with a swimming area. I was thinking it was something more than that. It was very peaceful and quite area for a nice little stroll. I am sure in the summer time it would be quite different and crazy.

Visited whilst on a weeks vacation for the COTA F1. Great location but it was just an shame that it was closed for swimming. The water was crystal clear and it looked so inviting. Temperatures still in the mid eighties in late October and a dip in the cool waters would have been welcome.

Still hot in Texas when we went but the swimming hole was closed. Was beautiful. Nice outdoor space but small. People stated their were walking trails on here but we didn't find them. We were hoping to go swimming in the off season as heard this was very busy in the summer. There are some parks open in sept and... More

I've been going to blue hole since the 70s when it was dirt parking and a swimming spot. I was concerned when it was turned into a park but it is so much better this way. There is a large lawn to put out chairs or towels . The hole is still pretty and very cold! There are restroom facilities... More
