I was awed, by the numerous exhibits, and attention to detail, given each section of this museum. The history, and importance of the “Rangers”, cannot be overstated. Fighting sometimes alone, other times in company strength, earned the unit a well deserved reputation. They were a...More

Not being from Texas, this was extremely interesting and informative. Had been recommended to us by several people and so glad we took the time to learn the history of the Texas Rangers!

The rangers memorabilia and history were cool. The video presentation could be upgraded especially after charging 7$ a head. They did so much for Texas and deserve accolades Many personal collections of firearms and other items. You can even hold one of the old firearms...More

Be sure to watch the film; it gives a valuable summary of the Rangers' place in Texas histoy. There is a lot of written material with the exhibits, and you could stay a long time if you read it all, but it isn't boring. The...More

I lived many years in Kilgore and heard the stories of Texas Ranger "Lone Wolf" Gonzaullas. He came into town during the 1930's oil boom and restored law and order among a rough crowd of men. He was just one example of the Ranger mystique...More

My friend and I visited a wonderful tribute to the Rangers. What hero’s they all were. It was a fantastic collection of artifacts and the true American hero. My greatest respect to all of men and women that helped make Texas safe .

This would be good for middle school age kids and up. I think that younger kids may find this boring. I’m not aware of any other attractions in that area.

Did not see signs regarding pets. If you have a service dog there are most likely no restrictions. Other wise call the museum to ask.
