Great views (can't miss Lover's Leap) and lush scenery. It was a nice diversion. For the more active there are tons of trails for all levels.

A fun zoo with lots of great exhibits!! Hard to compete when you are from NY and we have the Bronx Zoo but we had a great time and glad we went.

The day we visited was extremely crowded, but it was spring break in the area. I thought the zoo was great with a wide variety of animals. We had a great time, but thought the price of admission was high!

Visited zoo with youngest son while girls did their Magnolia Market thing. Very surprised to find a zoo with quality facility and good selection animals/birds/insects.

We love going here with the grandkids. The zoo is well kept and spread out enough so even on a busy day, it's pleasant. Definitely recommend a visit.

We've been to the Cameron Park Zoo many times. This was the first visit in a few years, and now the "kids" are a young adult and older teen. Still a great place for family of all ages. We spent a solid 3 hours here. The habitats and set-up remain outstanding. The layout and use of space is to be... More

We have a student at Baylor and have been in Waco many times, but we have never explored the Cameron Park area. Over Easter weekend, we decided to visit the zoo. What a true prize this is for a city the size of Waco. I have no idea if this was typical for a weekend, but the zoo did not... More

The price was right for this zoo, there are lots of activities for the kids and lots for the parents to see. They had a lots of cool animals that I had not seen before such as the Siberian Tiger and a Orangutan. It also had a lot of cover natural and artificial so it wasn't so hot.

Loved the otters. The layout of the zoo is easy to follow and interesting. Native animals are accessible in a close encounter.
