Very cute theater. They’ve done a great job restoring/preserving/renovating it and it has a lot of charm. My husband and I saw Marty Stewart in concert here and had a great experience. The sound and atmosphere were good- we would definitely come back here for another concert.

We dropped by because of the beautiful historic theater design and were welcomed by everyone to look around. Wish we could have stayed for a movie, but we were on tour. It really is a special site. The huge theatres don't feel as special or exciting. Worthy of support for sure!

Go to Dallas or Austin for you entertainment, this place has prices like that's where they are located. The service is always so unorganized and slow, we are disappointed every time we go. The fact that they don't have an option to leave a review or comments on their website or social media reflects their concern with customer satisfaction.

The Hippodrome was a very good experience. You are close to the stage, the sound is good and the staff very pleasant. We will be going again. Parking nearby is limited.

My wife and I attended Gary P. Nunn's concert in February 2019. We had an excellent time. We got VIP seats ($40) and we got to meet and visit with Gary before the show. He was very warm and affable and posed for pictures with us.
After he left, we ordered some outstanding nachos and as the show started we couldn't have had better seats and the sounds was excellent.
One of the better times we've had in 13 years of marriage. Also, my wife suffered a stroke 10 years ago and has to use a travel chair for extended trips. THe management was so nice and accomodating to put her chair in their office and left it there the entire show. Afterwards, we retreived it and thanked them for a 5 Star night!
We are going back tonight to see Josh Turner and anticipate just as good a time! Thanks folks from a satisfied Wacoan!

This is the only place we go now to watch movies! My husband is 6'8" and he has a hard time at a regular movie theatre because there's no room for his legs! The Waco Hippodrome Theatre has plenty of room for "big & tall guys!" This is the best place to have a family fun night!

This is our first visit since the installation of the reclining seats and food service. It was awesome to sit in those chairs and to order your food. The food was really good too. I got the Philly cheese steak sandwich. It was good but really big. It's also hard to eat in the dark. The tickets were cheap too. $8.50 for the movie. The food was a little expensive. $35 for sandwich and burgers. You have to pay for the drinks separate and They are $4.50. But it was worth it. I took my grandchild there to watch Lion King. They also control the cell phone and crying kids. If you have kids they ask you to take them outside if they get loud. I wish all places did that. And to watch a movie with no cell phones going off was worth any costs. will be going back often.

First time here & loved it. Recliners were great & loved the food served at your seat. Not having to negotiate a restaurant (or fast food) with a child was worth the price. Grandma & grandson will be back.

We went to a movie here and found the seats to be very comfortable. We didn't take advantage of the food service (didn't realize it was an option and had eaten in advance). We also didn't realize there is more to this place than just a theater with a whole other area on the roof (bar, I think) which ought to have some nice views. Folks were friendly and we'd return and explore the roof options.

Old theater with new movie screen addition. Recliners are comfortable and relaxing. The Raliegh ( restaurant ) has excellent food, drinks, and service! Rooftop bar is a cool place to grab a drink.

Where is parking located for waco,tx hippodrome?

street parking, but it's timed so it's best to look for side streets where there is no meters. Daytime is particularly hard but after 5 is no problem
