We drove around this park but didn't get to walk on any trails. It's a beautiful park and we wish we had had more time to spend there. We did climb Jacob's Ladder! It was tough but we made it. Both in our 60's! Make sure to go here if you love the outdoors.

Cameron Park sits at the confluence of the Bosque and Brazos rivers and includes 20 miles of trails at four hiking levels. We stopped below Emmons cliff, a high bluff of the Austin Chalk, eroded by the Bosque and Brazos rivers. Very amazing park to find in this size Texas city. I wish more other cities would follow this example!

We love visiting Waco, and always make time to go through Cameron Park. Great for walk, a trip to the Cameron Park Zoo, or just admiring the sculptures along the way. Great way to relax after a long day.

We spent the morning in the park - very nice and clean - walking and meeting Tim at the fountain - he was very friendly and gave us the quick info on the park. If you have two-three hours to spend outdoors - I highly recommend visiting the different locations in the park - all the views are amazing!

The last thing i expected in WACO was a deep forested park. This place is beautiful and has a zoo within the park. Rolling hills and lots of trees and green space make this an amazing place to kick back and relax, or go for a great bike ride.

I visited during Spring Break. The park is beautiful. It has playgrounds, hiking trails and places to sit and relax. The first place I saw was Lover's Lesp, which has a great view of the Brazos. This was my favorite spot. I took the Jacob's Ladder challenge, climbing both up & down the steps. Unfortunately, I did not stretch first and I pulled a muscle. The steps are uneven-a steep step could be right after a shallow step. Next time I visit, I'll bring a chair AND I'll stick to the trails for walking.

It's a large park so it's easy to socially distance and still have a good time! Nice, clean playgrounds and plenty of picnic tables and places to hang out. Lots of shade!

We took our three young boys on some of the easier trails (a couple of the intermediate), and they did great. They are 3, 2, and 3 months (I wore him). We obviously didn’t go very fast, but it was very enjoyable, and the boys kept begging to go again. It’s worth it to look up the trail map to plan some trails if you’re going with young kids. I love that it can take as long or as short as you want. It was a great spot to get away in the middle of the city!

Lots of trails and things to do within the park. We hiked several trails, which at times were confusing. Also did Jacob's Ladder. Didn't visit the zoo but which we could have.
