We traveled to Waco to visit the Magnolia Silos and see bluebonnets. We drove through this crazy large park inside the city and while we saw few bluebonnets, we were pleasantly surprised at the quiet and peaceful solitude it offered. There are several areas that...More

Walking through the park and visiting Lover's leap. It is a beautiful place to relax and take in some of Texas' beautiful scenerary! Then if you want to go to the zoo it is right there.

This park is spread out and we drove around endlessly looking for certain attractions int he park. But in doing so we got to see areas we might not have otherwise seen. Once inside of the park you seem far away from the noise of...More

Plenty of things to see and places to go walking . River views were great. A lot of history to take in.

This large, hilly park is great for hiking, mountain biking, jogging, picnicking, and generally relaxing. I've attended downhill longboard races and the shade of the trees kept us comfortable. It's simply lovely!

My husband and I went here to spend a gorgeous Saturday afternoon. It's a big area. We were able to picnic by the water and watch the kayakers and kids and dogs playing Frisbee. I would love to have this closer to me at home.

Enjoyed visiting the park. Great views from the cliff side. Many areas to stop for a picnic or just enjoy the beautiful scenery.

I loved Cameron Park-it was beautiful! It reminded me of the places where I used to hike when I lived in Nashville and Chattanooga, TN. I loved the fact that it was in Waco and that it was easy to find. There are many trails...More

Our Waco visit consisted of Baylor, Magnolia, and the Dr. Pepper museum. These were all in the Waco downtown area, which we enjoyed. Not far from these location is Cameron Park, which provides great walking/running and biking trails, while enjoying some beautiful scenery.

Given the small stadium and all the centralized activities near stadium and downtown, I would have guessed that Cameron Park would not be affected. What was your experience??
