We are just getting started learning about and stopped by while we were in the area, and even mentioned our "newness" to wine tasing. If the owner had not been there, we likely would have left due to the manager's rude laughing at my husband's...More

Great winery with wines you buy exclusively on site or online only. We did a wine tasting then went back the next day to buy a couple of bottles. The owners and manager are very friendly and knowledgeable. This is obviously their passion. Nice patio...More

Was hesitant to go because I’m not a fan on any of the Lost Maples wines sold in the stores- this is NOT associated with those wines- these are much more exquisite wines. Owner was very informative, knew exactly how the wine was made! Don’t...More

After a hike through Lost Maples, a stop at this hidden gem was such a reward! Pleasant estate scenery does not lose the Hill Country charm. And sitting outside, a view of the hills is a pleasant experience versus a Hwy 290 traffic view. This...More

The wines aren’t bad, came here after Lost Maples Park. They didn’t discriminate us even though we were all nasty from hiking lol. Staff is nice.

Lost Maples Winery is a real gem. Owners Glenda and Texas Tom Slaughter are very actively involved in meeting guests and with explaining all of their great wines. This is a must visit place.

As you drive into the vineyard you truly appreciate the beauty of this place. The wine tastings are great my favorite one Polvandeau Vin Obsession Merlot. This one is not part of the regular wine tastings it's an additional $1.50 it's worth a try !

Imagine a winery in the middle of nowhere! The wines were excellent and the owner, Texas Tom, was personable, friendly, and knowledgeable. We were the only ones there and had his full attention. Highly recommend if you're ever in the area.

Great winery outside Lost Maples SNA. The tasting was $10 and every single wine was amazing which I was really impressed with! There was even one that was supposed to have a taste of honeydew melon and it actually did! The engraved glass was $20...More

I was not quite sure what to expect from a winery in Vanderpool, TX, but it turned out to be worth the drive. The owner/winemaker was a wealth of information about winemaking in general, but especially about his wines. Their Lenoir was the shining star...More
