What a quaint town on the river in the Hill Country near Uvalde, TX. Some shopping, Lost Maples Restaurant, beautiful river, friendly people and small town atmosphere. Bend of the River B&B was new, clean, nicely appointed, friendly patrons, delicious breakfasts, helpful advice and directions.

We were pleasantly surprised by the 4th of July Fireworks display in this little town. The show lasted close to an hour and was absolutely beautiful.

We went for the annual rodeo that they held this week (June 23 2018). It was a great rodeo and got to see all the local folks in their rodeo gear. It is held in the park along the river.

I have called this place home away from home since birth. It certainly is a paradise. I grew up going to Granny's and still love it as much as when I was a kid. Turned 60 yesterday. Will be back again in a few weeks.

I love the small town, country feel. The river walk area was really cool! Unfortunately, I accidentally deleted all of the photos I took of the ducks. It was so cute...watching the ducks cross the street while traffic stopped. Sooo many ducks! Loved it!

It gets warm in Texas; we like to travel in the spring and fall. The Los Maples Natural area is a must see when the maple leaves turn in the fall.
