Johnson's Ranch Marina is the best place to anchor your heart. Good people, great fishing and everything to accommodate you. Rustic is part of the magic. If you want Catalina - go there. If you want to truly relax and kick up your feet and catch a few or just glance at the water and herons... The place and the... More

During a long business trip my co-workers decided we should all venture out for a day. I stumbled upon Johnsons marina. We rented canoes and kayaks and paddled for about four hours ($30 per boat). The canoe trails were perfect! We were able to navigate through the trees, lily pads, and brush very easily. Each turn was another jaw dropping... More

My husband, kids (10 and 12), and I took and hour and half boat ride over spring break. We really enjoyed it, although I think the Cypress trees are more impressive in May or June. The guide was very informative about Caddo Lake and we were able to see two alligators during our trip even though it was a little... More

Great tour of lake with Chaz in a Go Devil boat. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. I recommend him as a guide for fishing or touring.

Loved the history behind Johnson's Marina. The building being built back in 1908. An old country store looking place.

I booked a solo boat tour to photograph mysterious Caddo Lake. Just beautiful! My guide has been taking nature lovers on the lake, since he was 12 years old. He can answer any question, tell stories and knows his lake and its inhabitants. I didn't want to leave this great location. Such a wonderful place to relax and get a... More

I've been coming to Johnson's Ranch for years and never thought to do a tripadvisor review. This place looks like a movie set, and has been used for one many times. You can't get this kind of atmosphere without years and years of loving wear and tear. Karen, Leroy, Kevin and the crew will take care of what you need... More

We took a tour of Caddo Lake and our guide, Angie rocked! She was easygoing, laid back and very knowledgeable about the lake. You can see that being a guide is her passion. Love her!

Billy gave us the 'low-down' on local lore, lake politics and wildlife. Really enjoyed this excursion of our trip.
