When in Hill Country, Becker Vineyards is the winery to visit, the others are good, Becker is a notch above the rest. We usually leave with a few bottles of wine that can only be purchased at the winery, such as Prairie Rotie

Becker offers a tasting of six wines for $15 and you get a wine glass. This Californian was quite impressed with the wine quality. White wing, Malbec reserve, Raven and the reserve cabs were all excellent. There is a lovely area for picnicking.
