Old Town Spring has a lot of cute shops and restaurants. Most of the parking is street parking, but a few places do have small lots available. The shops vary in merchandise, but there are a lot of local artisan type shops (iron work, woodwork, local art, boutiques, t-shirt stores, vintage stores, homemade fudge shops, etc)

History is one of my passions, especially with places that provide an amusing twist, unique diversions and wholesome atmosphere. All three can be quickly found in this quaint restored downtown area of the original township (larger than Houston during the mid-1850s because of its railhead and lumber/milling industries and a key transfer/trading center between North Texas and the booming, bawdy... Lots of fun things to do including making perfumes and candles. Parking is a bit tough but over all nice way to spend the day. Food is good too!

What I miss the most about Spring is Corkscrew BBQ and Thad's, both in Old Town Spring. (Just moved out of State.) Never did they disappoint. Thad's has beautiful unique quality home decor, great holiday sales, as well as a corner of store stocked with sale items. Corkscrew has spoiled me for the moist, as well as perfectly smoked flavor... More

It is a lovely place to shop. I liked the variety of places I could browse. I patronize small businesses when I can and appreciated that I could do so. It's a nice leisurely stroll with many options for all. Food, shopping, desserts and drinks for all ages. What more could you ask for.
