My family and I traveled to Texas to visit my sister and her family over the Thanksgiving holiday. We wanted to do the whole "Texas experience" which included horseback riding, a rodeo, time spent in both Dallas and Fort Worth. When I asked everyone what their favorite activity was, they all said the same thing: horseback riding. I think the... More

From the careful selection of horses for riders, to the last creek that we crossed, it was an amazing experience. All of the wranglers were knowledgeable and love what they do. We had a variety of experience rodding from brand new to intermediate in our group of 4. The wrangler had us all trotting in no time. I highly recommend... More

We scheduled a large group when my family from out of state came to visit. From the first phone call it was a great experience. The staff is super nice and knowledgeable. The horses are very well kept which is a big factor in picking this place to begin with. The horses were clean and fed well. They were very... More

The staff here are great and really tailor the ride. Don't worry about inexperience, the intermediate level will be fine for anyone who can sit on a horse and stay on during a trot. Stunning forest walks and lakeside trails. The guides are very engaging and make sure everyone feels comfortable. Fun to do in a group. Highly recommend.

My friend and I recently visited Marshall Creek Ranch as a gift for my birthday and I was excited by all the great reviews. The check-in process was simple and only included signing off on waivers and paying for the ride. I was a little taken aback by the lack of adults managing the place and I don't know that... More

Called in on the chance that we could get a ride, we were lucky, $65 for 90 mins, or so they advertise, i mounted my horse, Lexi, about 10 mins before the start of the beginners ride, walked around for 10 mins to get familiar with her and then we set off, into the woody shady area, over the odd... Old friends getting together in Dallas went riding with the most amazing group of people and horses at the Marshall Creek Ranch. They have great horses and a great attitude. The ride takes you through the forest and fields along the lake through very beautiful Texas scenery. We rode up and down hills and through creeks. The horses are well... More

Great place to ride! Super nice people, great horses and reasonably priced. Better rides than we're used to in Pennsylvania.

My 7 year old daughter and I took the beginner trail ride today with Jasmine as our guide. Neither of us has ridden before so I wasn't sure what to expect. Jasmine did a great job of choosing the right horses for us, giving us a quick pre-ride crash course, and making sure my daughter was comfortable. I thought the... More

This ranch offers a scenic ride through wooded areas to Grapevine Lake. It is a top-notch horseback trail ride in the region. Christine is one of the best wranglers there, so if you go, request her and you'll have a wonderful time!
