Clean park, very polite and helpful staff. Water features were good, though lines for rides were long. (Rides kept getting stopped for some reason.) Our meals from fast food stands were very poor. The quality and speed of service left a lot to be desired. They encourage you to bring a picnic, it would be worth it.

I've visited Schlitterbahn in Galveston several times and I've always been impressed. The park in South Padre Island was very disappointing. We visited on Good Friday and the park was not ready to be open. Most rides were closed or not functioning. The Tempest and Gale Force broke down intermittently throughout the day. Additionally, many guests hoarded tubes and those... More

Would be more fun in the summer I'm sure. Most restaurants weren't open. Needed repairs and updates. Friendly and accommodating staff. Food at seaside grill was great!!

James G, Thanks for visiting and while the indoor, climate-controlled waterpark does have plenty to do, it sounds like you would have a blast during our full-season which begins April 14th and our large outdoor waterpark is open as well. Our Seaside Grill and Shrimp Haus restaurants are both open year-round (as well as our Loblolly Grill) and during waterpark... More

We thought this was a large indoor waterpark. We arrived and there were no locker rooms. You had to change in what I would call something like a dressing room at a department store. They had tiny lockers to hold your belongings, we had to purchase two as we were not staying at the hotel. The only available things to... More

shannono167, Thanks for spending some time in our indoor, climate-controlled waterpark and glad we could still enjoy the day despite the rainy conditions outdoors. I hope you were also to enjoy our large, heated refreshment swim-up pool, seaside pool, carousel and interactive MegaBlast dry gaming area in addition to the other attractions. We hope to see you back this summer... More

What a blast to enjoy the indoor section of the water park (only part open during this time)! The weather was raining and cold outside, so this place was just right. My nine year old son, myself and wife enjoyed the slides, lazy river, heated pool, nerf ball shooting game, heated pool with swim up bar, and food.

Anthony G, Thanks for spending some of your family time during Spring Break with us. As the "go-to" place to be for families during Spring Break, our indoor, climate-controlled section provides plenty of fun-filled activities for all ages. We hope to see you back again this summer once the entire outdoor park is open as well (beginning April 14th). Thanks... More

This was an exceedingly expensive waterpark that only had 2 rides open in January. Luckily we got some significant discounts (someone who was leaving gave us free passes and we donated cans of food to get the other two tickets at a discount). The first ride was the Torrent River. This is not a lazy river! It is a violent,... More

KarenB_California, Thanks for sharing your experience and glad you were able to take advantage of our holiday special where you can gain entry for just $10 with a food donation (in addition to the free tickets you had). We actually have a wide array of attractions during our indoor season: two four-story tube slides, the torrent river, a kid's play... More

It was very fun. The day was perfect and very few people around that time of year. We had a very good time, everybody were very nice.

Girandova, Thanks for the five stars and spending a weekend with us. Being from McAllen, you are sharing with other Trip Advisors what "us locals" already know....this is one of the best times of the year to visit us and the Island.... Great weather, smaller crowds and hotel prices that are a fraction of the peak summer cost. Thanks again... More

I had shrimp scampi, the shrimp were great but the pasta was very bland. Place looks a little run down. Good margaritas, waiter was very good.

Bev G, Thanks for coming and happy to hear that overall you enjoyed....sharing your review with our staff as the scampi is one of our more popular dishes and should be more flavorful than you described. Our shrimp are purchased direct from local shrimpers to ensure the highest freshness and quality possible. We are also known for having the Island's... More
