I went there to get information on the Historical Murals that can be found around the downtown area. They have a wealth of information about activities and the history of San Angelo, as well as the surrounding areas. Beautiful building atop the riverbank and beautiful landscaping with rocks and waterfalls between the building and the riverbank. Enjoy the riverwalk while... More

Having read the great reviews for the visitors center, it was a given to go there to learn what attractions we might go see. The two gentlemen inside were quite friendly and helpful. The center is lovely. It's along the river walk. There's a landscaped waterfall, sculptures, and lovely views.

Friendly folks had lots of information to help us have a great short stay in San Angelo. Beautiful building with access to the river. We ate our lunch (picnic) on a balcony overlooking the river.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. There was fresh coffee and it was free. The grounds around the center were beautiful with running stream and waterfall and rock walkway down to the river. A beautiful place for pictures.

We came by visitor center because of reviews but also could see it was not to be missed when we saw it coming into San Angelo. We walked in and was greeted by staff that offered any help we needed. Then we walked thru the river walk a bit and found some awesome art and even a sunken garden with... More

I loved the time I spent in San Angelo and the visitor center was a good place to start. City maps and information are available here to help get you around the city. Many beautiful sites and photo ops here, the Visitor Center sits above the Concho River. Beautiful plants and scenery.
