This is a small nature center. There are many small animals on display. There are also bobcats and a porcupine outside. I asked them where the animals came form. Some were exotic pets that the owners didn't want anymore. Others were injured an cannot go back to the wild. I was also told some of the snakes were caught in... More

I have held a party here and attended six others. Every party was a success and very easy to host. There are plenty of tables and chairs for parents who wish to stay. Staff always fun and informative.

Pretty nice place I felt kind of bad for some of the animals but for San Angelo it was overall a nice experience.

My husband has donated to this Nature Center based on the quality of care they give the animals. You can truly see that they are interested in their well being and also to teach everyone about each species. My granddaughter and grandson actually had their birthday parties here and the other children loved it. It is such a great learning... More

One of the staff gave me a personal guided tour which was fascinating. I saw two giant tortoises sheltering in the garden from the sun. Don't miss the Burmese python, all 250 pounds of him/her... I went to the Nature Center with my daughter and my 4 grandchildren visiting from out of state. We loved it and they enjoyed holding a few of the animals and seeing so many neat ones from the area and other parts of the world. It was worth the time!!

We loved this place. It is very interesting and the nature specialist let us pet a snake, a prairie dog, a turtle and some other animals. She is really nice. We loved it. It is located just on the site of the lake where there is a very nice view.
