San Angelo has become known for it's public art, and the historical murals are a main reason why. These vivid paintings take you back into the experience of San Angelo's history. Make sure you see them.

Easy to find with a nap from the visitors center. Phone recordings explain each mural. Much more enjoyable than it may appear. Took about an hour to complete by car.

During our walking tour of Downtown, we viewed the beautiful murals. They were a great representation of San Angelo's history and worth a stop and view.

LOVED the cell phone call in system for a "personal" explanation of the art. Did find it a bit confusing to find each panel but they were all in a small area downtown. Worth the stop.

It was very interesting to see the murals, However, traffic made it difficult to really enjoy. But fun to find.
