The place was very nice. The staff and the docent was very knowledgeable and friendly. The kids in our troop seemed to enjoy their time. I know I did and learned a lot about Rosenberg and trains. Real cool trip.

We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and wanted to see the museum & train car. The cashier stated that they only offer guided 45 minute tours and no self guided ones. There were a few families with small children that were running amok that...More

My husband kept wanting to go to the museum but I wasnt too interested as it just seemed really small. So I didn't think there would be much to see. If you're like me, do not let the size fool you. It has way more...More

Great combination of video, wall displays and real artefacts, plus a beautiful railway carriage and Box 17, an intact control centre. Great tour guides bring the operation alive for all the family.

We went with a Groupon deal. It was a very wonderful experience. Super polite employees. Tour guide was very knowledgeable. I just wish that there was a train experience that young children would enjoy. The train garden wasn't functioning. I hope this museum continues to...More

We went to Rosenberg for the 2017 RailFest, which is really a fundraiser for the Railroad museum. Located in an old train station, the museum is a quite manageable little museum that hs a good collection of railroad related objects, photographs and documents. For those...More

They have a few very nice exhibits--a beautifully restored First Class rail-car and an old caboose, as well as several artifacts in their small display room and a nice model train set-up. What really makes it special, however, is the staff. They were extraordinarily kind...More

The museum has a variety of historical items that would be interesting to railroad fans; check the web site for days and times open; if you have the time to spare, this is a good train watching location.
