This place offers various rooms with different displays showcasing different time periods. The admission is free and they like donations. There is a lot of rotating displays such as quilting, military, fishing and sporting, etc. Self-paced museum that is worth the time to visit.

A beautifully maintained history center focusing on the history of homes in the area. The guide was extremely knowledgeable about not only the homes, but other historical aspects of the area.

My husband and I wanted to visit the History Center for Aransas County but it is open only Fridays & Saturdays from 10am to 2pm. Darn. We were in Rockport Sunday through Thursday so we missed out. Maybe next time. The admission is Free.

The History Center for Aransas County showcases local heritage. Outdoor and indoor exhibits tell the stories of the real people of Aransas County. The Center provides space for displays, workshops, meetings and gatherings. Free Admission!
