Checked out the State Park...hard hit by Hurricane Harvey. No camping until Jan 2019. Still under repairs. Day use appeared to be going strong.

This is a very family friendly beach. Clean and patrolled regularly. The sand is amazing and you can park your car right on the beach. A must do when in the Corpus Christi atea

Great price for the use of the dump station for RVs. Laundry and showers also available and clean. We have never stayed inside of the park because we prefer to drive down and stay on the beach away from the crowds.

Mustang Island is my favorite place in the whole state of Texas! This state park has a fantastic beach...at the right time of year you can even watch the see turtles come ashore to nest and lay their eggs!

This state park is one of the best in Texas...you will really get to see some of the natural, untouched Texas coastline. Access is easy. The water on this part of the Texas coast is some of the best looking water south of Matagorda Bay.

This beach was wonderful once you got to it's location. Unfortunately Hurricane Harvey has destroyed the parking lots closest to the dunes and beach. Once you park, you do a bit of walk, but not a difficult one. A family friendly beach, good sand, lots...More

As of right now the park is closed due to the hurricane damage they received. They are working delligently on things though, so check before you go on their progress.

I would try and call. When we were in Port A. for the month of February, we drove by it frequently. And it was not open. I believe they have had some issues with the hook up's being destroyed.
