After a very hot afternoon, we decided to spend the evening driving to Canyon Lake. The expedition was memorable. The sunset was serene; beautiful and cool for relaxation. Nice place for family hang out. I surely will come back for a long weekend escape.

Lots of things to do here. Boating. Camping. Swimming. This Lake is really pretty. Just make sure if you are not a strong swimmer to wear a life jacket. It has a strong under tow.

The lake was nice and the weather was beautiful! However, we pretty much went around the whole lake looking for a place to fish off the land. We ended up fishing at the boat ramp, per the attendants at one of the parks.

Great Lake always fun. Plenty to do on and off the water. In the spring the white bass fishing is excellent.

No, there are no areas for doing cliff jumping. However, if you want to explore an area that was washed out from a flood you can sign up with a tour guide for a guided tour at Canyon Lake.
