The hall is a have to see historic honky tonk. They only serve beer and wine - cash only!!! Plenty of dancing, laughing, sitting under the stars kind of night - awesome!

We were there on a weekend with a sold out show and still found parking. No up front but not too far.

I know the movie "Michael" was filmed in Gruene. I googled "Pure Country" and it said it was filmed in May Pearl, which is south of Dallas.
