Oldest dance hall in Texas. Lots of great pictures of performers. Not air conditioned. Happy hour cheaper bottled beer, last night until 6, $2.00. Evening concerts of famous performers generally sold out.

I Love Gruene Hall! It's, without question, the real deal. Where else can you find high quality entertainment (Bret Graham), a cold beer, a historic setting, two-step dancing and good folks all around you but at Gruene Hall?

We have been to quite a few shows here. This little gem is one of the best venues in town, obviously because it has been around for over a hundred years! From the beer selections to the good ol' boy atmosphere, Gruene Hall delivers. There...More

Great place for country bands. A different band every night. Plenty of space to dance. Drinks are reasonable.

I feel like I’ve gone back in time at the oldest dance hall in TX. Surprisingly good acoustics. Other than a few long wooden benches this place is standing room only. Find a spot under one of the big fans before grasping a cold one...More

A cowboy type bar. Nothing fancy but very friendly. Only bottled beer, wine and sodas are offered. Bands play daily, all free. Big name bands and singers at special ticket prices. Schedule posted at bar.

Historic, fun and the coldest beer around. Had a good time listening to live music. Not a hot weather venue.

It is easy to get a ride, there are a lot of drivers for Uber & Lyft in the area. The distance and surge pricing on a weekend would make it very expensive. I hope tat is helpful.

There are huge parking lots in the area, and they are all free. You can easily walk to the venue because they are so close.
