It is a small park with a creek that has (almost) no water. It's clean and well kept park. You can walk around in just 10 minutes. You can park the car at the farmer market parking place.

We enjoyed finding this park after dinner at Auntie Pasta's (1 street over). Our kids loved the playground! It's in a fairly quiet area, so it would be a good place for a peaceful walk. A railroad track is nearby, but we never heard. People were using the disc golf course, seemed to be in good shape. There's a few park benches, and a shaded picnic table next to the playground. We saw a small covered pavilion with tables on one end of the park. Tennis courts could use a little upkeep. Bathrooms: horrible! Can't imagine why folks would do disgusting things to a facility intended to benefit them. We had the kids use the potty chair in our car over the bathroom. Aside from that, it has the basics and not far from heart of Nacogdoches. Note: this is Banita Creek Park NORTH, as there is a south location somewhere else.

This park is good for the entire family, especially the children. Safe, well maintained. A great option year round!

We ordered popcorn from the concession hut and it was cold. We ordered Dr.pepper and it was hot. There are rocks all on the trail, I fell on one! There was too much grass on the trail and I had an allergic reaction! My dog was with me and he fell off the end of the trail.

The Blueberry Festival's Blue Grass Concert in the Park was excellent. Well coordinated with unexpected amenities such as water provided free. The performers were definitely of professional quality.

Not much to do except walk on the trails or play tennis on an old, sunbleached court. It might have changed so you may want to drive by first, but it's best for trails.

It's a well kept park and a nice place to go on a warm, sunny day. We love being outdoors and sometimes driving to Nacogdoches is the only option since they have more places to go. It appears to have a well kept playground and we can't wait to bring our nephew to use it some day.

This is a very well used and well kept park in the heart of the downtown district. We had a luncheon in the Banita Creek Hall. All of this area is enjoyable.
