Two trails spanning 3 miles rakes visitors into some of the most dynamic and scenic areas of this National Forrest. Some 150 species of birds and 80 species of butterflies may be seen. From SH7 West turn left on FM 2782.

This is one of my favorite things about Nac. This and other trails go on for miles and miles and let you explore the rustic rural side of mac all while meandering next to lanana creek.

This trail is build and maintained by SFA and is a lovely way to spend your time in the city feeling like you are miles away from civilization. Lots of effort and time spend to make your time here . interesting and educational as well

the trail goes thru wild forest area with hundreds of birds chirpping . Be ready to walk ,no real rest areas . Not highly maintained paths so you have to watch your step. Outside of birds it is silence in the woods. One way road...More

These trails are very well maintained. My husband and I love bringing our dogs out here. It's very quiet, and there are rarely any other people on the trails when we are (usually around 6pm on week days). There are wooden benches to rest at...More
