Millard's Crossing was a wonderful adventure for us. We took our 3 and 5 year old boys to the village and were amazed by the collection of buildings that were available for us to just open the door and walk through. It was refreshing to be able to stand in rooms full of authentic pieces that were just there for... More

We ventured out to Millard's Crossing as we love historical homes. The office said "Open, Come on in" but there was no one there. Many of the houses were locked so we walked around, peeked in windows and did it all before the rain hit again. This attraction has possibilities, but unfortunately we were not able to experience it fully.... More

We visited this site on February, 15. Not very busy in the winter months, although the weather was fairly mild. Millard's Crossing is a collection of buildings from the Nacogdoches, Tx. city area. In addition to the buildings, which were bought, and moved there to save them from destruction, they were furnished by period pieces from the antique collection of... More

The houses and buildings are in great shape and really neat to see and go through. They have a hands on approach to history that was awesome.

This attraction is something else. A collection of homes, 'collected' by a local with a vision. The attraction relies solely on volunteers and offers a wonderful insight into housing conditions of past generations. Very interesting.

I am visiting from out of town and we found this historic village on Trip Advisor. We enjoyed walking into the homes and reading all about the buildings and the woman who started this historic village. I appreciate her for her efforts in preserving history. I appreciate those who keep it going. I loved it, especially the store, the school,... More

We've visited here often and also their summer camp. Some of the best memories for kids are the Halloween and Christmas events. It was past closing time and the guy running the barrel train wasn't shutting down until all the kids rode who hadn't - and it was freezing cold. If you visit, definitely pay for the guided tour -... A truly great experience. Lots of hands on activities reflecting life in the past. Wonderful staff that was able to capture the imagination of the girls and transport them into a different time. Thanks to all the volunteers that made the day so special.
