Nacogdoches is such a hidden gem in East Texas. The oldest city in Texas, with historic buildings, a walkable downtown area with brick streets & many shops & cafes to explore. We always stay at the Fredonia Hotel & about a block away is the Fredonia Brewery, one of our favorite spots in town. They have really good craft beers, friendly knowledgeable people, indoor/outdoor kid & dog friendly seating, games, live music, food trucks etc. It’s a great hang out

We came here after my brother’s graduation. It was such a great place to visit with family and drink some wonderful beer. They even had my favorite wine, Messina Hoff! The brewery is very laid back. They had live music and it’s somewhat open concept. There is and indoor and outdoor area so plenty of space! We even took out 7 year old soon with us and he had a blast. They have pizza on sight that was delicious and non-alcoholic beverages for kids.

This was my first time to the Fredonia and I purchased the sampler of several different beers. Each had a unique flavor, some I loved and some not so. But having the opportunity to taste a small sample before is a great way to figure out which brew you prefer. Next time I'm in Nac, I will return to the Fredonia Brewery.

This is a new brewery located in downtown Nacogdoches. The venue is very nice with a great bar and an outdoor patio with shaded picnic tables and a food truck or two. The beer and ale offerings include a yummy amber ale, strong and smooth pale ale, delicious rich porter, mild American blonde ale, fruity brewberry ale and much more! They offer limited taproom hours currently but plan to increase in the future. The patio is family and pet friendly. There is music on Saturdays. Just wish they served their beers in a glass with their logo on it instead of a plastic cup. A great place to go for local beer.

This is a first rate place they had a music show (Meredith Crawford) that was wonderful and why we made the trip. The show as outside where everything was extremely clean, people sit on picnic tables, many have shade but it was hot in August. They had plenty of cold craft beer, a barbecue truck that is about as good as any restaurant in any city for hundreds of miles. It was a family type atmosphere, plenty of water bowls for dogs that people brought as well. And Meredith Crawford sung her heart out the better part of 3 hours, what more do you need?

The older gentleman at the tap counter was very knowledgeable and let us try a bunch of beers before deciding on one! Was surprised to like the East coast hops IPA as I am not an IPA drinker! Will definitely be back when we visit east texas.

A great space to relax with some cold craft beers, get competitive with some trivia (Thursdays) or grab some food from the onsite foodd trucks. A short walk from the Fredonia Hotel. Dog friendly, great outdoor space!

Very nice location and friendly service. Serve their craft beers brewed right here. Good selection. Beer was good and also enjoyed their own crafted root beer. It was trivia night and we enjoyed the pre music and some of the trivia games but we’re not as smart as those SFA geeks.

I went to the Fredonia Brewery with some friends on a Saturday night and it was so fun! There was a live band, and people of all ages enjoying the atmosphere, food truck and games. I was indecisive about what I wanted to order and the bar tender was more than helpful as he allowed me to sample each beer, which made me like the place even more. I will totally go back!

This brewery is open on Thursday-Saturday. It was so disappointing to find it closed when we came through other days! We finally found the brewery open this weekend. Pretty good beers! There were 8 flavours on the docket, We did a double taster paddle to try them all, several worthy to drink for sure. The facility is really first class, while maintaining a woodsy rural look, they have a modern canning facility in-house and very modern layout. They have music several times a month to check out.
