ALL VISITS REQUIRE AN APPOINTMENT. Please contact the sanctuary for scheduling.

Saint Francis Wolf Sanctuary is dedicated to rescuing and caring for non-releasable wolves and wolfdogs, providing them with a stable, loving, and exceptional home, with an abundance of loving and compassionate care. We provide all of our animals with regular, balanced, nutritious meals; exceptional veterinary care; safe and comfortable sources of shelter; frequent enrichment; and, when appropriate, human or canine companionship. We do not buy, sell, or breed any animals.

We also support educating the public about issues involving wolves and wolfdogs, and dispelling the many myths that surround these frequently misunderstood animals. Through guided on-site tours, visits from ambassador wolfdogs, off-site presentations, and other outreach avenues, we provide accurate, engaging information about wolves and wolfdogs, conservation issues, and the downsides of exotic pets.

This tour was one of the highlights of my vacation. We were informed of each wolf's and wolf's dog background, most of them very sad. The place is kept up really nice. There were no bad smells and the wolves all looked beautiful. They even had a wolf ambassador that we all got a chance to pet. I learned a... More

The Sanctuary is a little hard to find but the experience is wonderful for kids and adults. The docents know the history of each wolf and share that information in a easily understood manner. The docents also walk one of the wolfs through the visitors which is very cool. You will also learn that all the animals are not pure... More

We have been there twice. Both times the staff were very informative, kind and caring. These animals have been rescued from people who thought they should have an exotic animal. There is a small gifit shop and you can adopt a wolf. Nice, peaceful setting.

St Francis wolf sanctuary is an absolute most visit. The wolves, the volunteers and staff look after are well cared for and loved. The wolves living there are such beautiful majestic creatures, all with their own stories of hardship and survival. How such creatures are misrepresented and completely misunderstood even today, is hard to understand. The sanctuary relies on funding... More

Took my school age kids last month. They enjoyed seeing the wolves. A little bit of a drive in the country if your coming from Spring or Houston. Attraction runs on donations and volunteers are passionate about these animals. You even get to pet a wolf mix. It was very hot when we went so best to wait till fall-... More

Lovely lady who is helping to reform wild animal ownership through education and interaction of the public with these beautiful creatures. Rather small space makes you sad for the animals, but the place is always spotless. As it is quite near my own home I can hear them baying in the moonlight some nights.

Great for adults and children. Education far exceeds expectations. Learn the truth about the wolf and even pet one. You will fall in love with the wolves.

This sanctuary was a wonderful surprise. Very educational and a blast for the whole family. Lot of excellent information is shared with the audience and to learn the history of each animal is amazing. Entrance is free, but they do accept donations. I was very happy to donate. The history of place is also great. Driving there was also cool.... More
