Nice place to go and reflect. The Huey that's there make us Vets feel the good and bad of Vietnam. This was put there by folks in our area. Great place to take the kids and tell of the honor these men and women put forward.

Very impressive bronze display. All of the marble work is well done. The eternal flame is a nice touch. Very well maintained.

Quiet place to pay respect and honor those that served and gave it all to this country. Simple but respectful.

The Vietnam Veterans Memorial out near the airport is beautifully done. There is an actual Huey helicopter that appears to be flying. The bronze of the soldiers is beautiful. The actual wall displays the names of those soldiers from the Permian Basin who gave their lives in the service of their country in Vietnam. The ceremony on Memorial Day at the memorial is especially moving.

Great place to visit for veterans. Very nive for all the work that was done to restore that Huey. It was damaged by heavy wind last year.

Been there many times, was one of the group of veterans who helped make the statue and helicopter a part of the grounds. For the veteran, a place for reflection and personal honor to our Permian Basin Brothers. Well designed grounds, well kept. Even though I do no live in the area now, often think of the uniqueness of the memorial. Outstanding for a local memorial. A have to for the traveler looking for a different sight from the Drilling Rig Derricks and Pumping Units.

This memorial is very nice. I have visited it several times. I had a Vietnam vet speak every time. The “ no man left behind” motto is so touching as the soldier on the way to the helicopter looks back over his shoulder.

This is a stop that is well worth the time for all Americans. It pays homage to the West Texas heroes that paid the ultimate sacrifice during the Vietnam War. Their names and the counties they are from are inscribed on a monument. The park has a sculpture of three soldiers during that time and also a helicopter from that period mounted on a pole.
