The beach has a lifeguard There are surfing and other activities The beach is gently sloped However The sand washes away and the beach below is rock. So it depends on the weather what day you have The new walkway is superb and is a good stroll in the morning and evening.

It's a decent beach, has a little bar on it, nice sand, some little rocks, wasn't too busy at all in Easter holiday period. Lifeguard facilities present

A remote area near Playa del Ingles, a nice area in the evening, Bars, Restruants, the only problem during the day going to the Beaches, they are a Black-ish Volcanic sand, but people come for the sun so most are not bothered, not many beach cafes so take water and food, other than that very pleasant.

We stayed at the Tamarindos. The area is quiet with not a lot going on except in the local shopping centre where there are most of the restaurants which cater for all tastes. The promenade is the highlight where you can you can walk all the way to Playa del Ingles. There is the beach but it was very windy... More

Be warned that this beach is lovely to look at but extremely blustery!! You should be fine if you take a few layers and some glasses to protect your eyes

We took a taxi to the hills and walked. The scenery was stunning. Well worth the taxi fare. This could be done using buses but we wanted to be up there early to walk. J

Clean and nice. The promenade was good and there was several places you can sit down and relaxe. You can go for a long walk.

San Augustin is a small quiet place - there is not much to do and although there are some lovely places to eat, you soon run out of options
