We were a little worried because of the reviews about our little rental polo along the roads, we kept expecting it to get worse but it was absolutely fine, you do not need a 4x4 at all to reach this beach. Yes the road is...More

This beach used to be absolutely stunning! Unfortunately now it’s littered with washed up plastic and turtles killed by plastic. It’s heartbreaking to see the death and destruction that our plastic use has caused. Fuerteventura should clean up the beach and ban single use plastic...More

Large enough for privacy without feeling isolated. Clean but little shelter if windy (which it usually is!)

This is by far one of the best beaches on Fuerteventura, talk about secluded yet it stretches on and on and on. It is very much a clothes optional beach so if that bothers you don't go. The tiny village just above the beach has...More

We have been to Fuerteventura for the last six years and stayed in Corralejo on the northern coast of the island every time. A few years ago we drove down to Jandia as friends were staying there and we wanted to see what it was...More

Death road. I jest. Or do I? But if you don't like heights, you may find the journey a bit extreme. I’ve wanted to come to Cofete since my last trip to Fueterventura. Since it’s not easily accessible from the North, we stayed in Morro...More

15km of dirt track in a rental car is great fun. Never mind the tales of blind hairpins and precipitous drops, getting there is 45% of the fun. Getting back is 45% of the fun. Being there makes up the rest. The Winter House is...More

...after all it's one of the few places not spoiled by too many tourists. Beautiful scenery with the rough see, the landscape, the wind, and the clouds changing the colours of everything!

Hello, You can rent a jeep, sure. Many people use their rented car to go there. But there is also a bus (more or less line bus) especially for this trip. Might be cheaper. We went there with our bicycles, which was tough... More

Hi Charlie, Its an unmade road - dirt track but its fine if you take it easy. There is a rocky but at the top of the pass but its only for a short distance. I took a hire car without damaging it :) have fun.
