    Nice break! Great cacti!
We really enjoyed this park. not too crowded, mostly, there were a lot of kids near the playground/ zoo areas. We loved the desert section, lots of flowering cacti, well labeled! A nice, shady place to get away from the crowds near the beach. Easy parking, too.

    A peaceful oasis
We enjoyed a couple of walks around this park during our recent stay in Benalmadena. We found it a lovely quiet oasis from the hussle and bustle of a busy resort. We enjoyed watching the parrots flying overhead and the butterflies moving around the exotic plants. Highly recommend a visit here.

A picturesque park off the beaten track away from the tourist hustle and bustle
One of the nicest parks! Great open space, cafes, a huge playground for the kids, great landscaping and manicured lawns, sculptures, wildlife (parrots, goats) a waterfall and cactus garden and tons of great views. We spent a great few hours here exploring and playing! This was also really accessible too! It's up there with one of the best public parks we have visited!

    Beautiful stunning park
Beautiful park with a couple of cafes dotted around. Some goats and other animals inside along with chickens roaming free, the last time we visited there were a lot of cats but these seemed to have gone now. At the too there is also a garden full of various caucus plants. Great to visit with children as there is a large play area also.

Not as much wildlife as previously
The park no longer has the extensive wildlife it used to have. Gone it seems are the terrapins, rabbits and chickens. Noticeably less birds on the water. The grounds are still nice. Work was taking place so on our visit could not walk all around the lake. However still a nice place for a wander

Go find the goats with huge plums
This gorgeous park is tucked away behind Benal Beach resort and we'll worth a visit to pass a few hours. Easily the best kept park I've visited in Spain. Between the lost heads display, cactus garden, lake, cafe's and the goats with ridiculously large plums there is plenty to see.

Lovely park, nice scenery, fun for little ones
We visited Park de Paloma after it was recommended. On first approach it looks a little rough due to work being carried out outside but inside is a family friendly environment to spend an hour or two wandering around. Inside there are a couple of cafes and plenty of toilets so you're able to take a break and enjoy the greenery. For the kids there are a few animal enclosures scattered about, like goats and rabbits etc and play areas for them to have a bit of fun. There's lots of interesting features to the park for adults too, like the cactus exhibition and a few water gardens. We used it for family photo opportunities and got some great pictures around the park. Best of all for those on a tight budget, it's free, so definitely recommended

    Gorgeous Public Park
What a perfect way to wile away a few hours. Lush, green, plenty of places to sit, places to eat, a lake, all perfectly cared for. Such a treat. There is a most amazing tree... fig, I think. The cacti are worth seeing and admiring. A definite should do.

    Beautiful park, worth a visit
Spent a day in this beautiful park with 2 young children.....such a gorgeous place to visit The children had the freedom + safety to run around + enjoy themselves. We had a lovely lunch in one of the cafes. We saw some animals as in ducks, parrots and rabbits. Definitely worth a visit if in Benalmadena.

Quite a nice spot very close to the centre of Benalmadena. It is a nice green space with a small lake with ducks and other birds.

What a beautiful place. It' s a must when in Benalmadena.

The park is beautifully maintained. There is a lake with ducks, 🦆baby chicks and turtles🐢 and whilst walking round we found a few areas which had gym equipment, (again really well maintained), a couple of cafès reasonably priced and friendly staff. Toilets in one part of the park I'd give a miss, but the ones by the cafés were fine.

There is a cactus🌵 village, some unusual shapes and sizes, definitely worth seeing, goats, chickens and cockerels too!

There is a great park for kids on site too!

Upon a further wander round we came across a bar with a mini carousal 🎠 (€1 a go) and small bouncy castle (free). You could order drinks and food on site too.

Overall was very impressed, lovely grounds, we visited twice whilst there.

Lovely, huge park, very peaceful and beautiful. Just heavenly walking around in the beautiful surroundings. A few ( one?) bar with play area for kids. Plenty of parking spaces , but we came by train. Walked maybe 15 minutes from the train station.

Lovely park, great for a walk and coffee in the shade. Kids liked the playground and the little coffee shop nearby was great.

We came for the shows, which we saw two years ago. They were all cancelled when we got to the top of the mountain after paying over 100 euros to get in, because it rained. Which is completely understandable. We went to leave again after about 30 minutes, and asked if it was possible to get a partial refund or ticket for another day or something. The lady was rude and lied, saying she had told us it was a risk when we entered, which she did not. If she had, we would have waited a little to hear if they were cancelled, before entering. Another thing my daugther pointed out is, that the large birds are kept in extremely small cages, which is a shame.

We are renting a condo near the park. We go by the park almost everyday and always find something new to see.
We love the cactus section, and enjoy sitting on a bench to relax and hear the birds.

We visited here to pass a few hours in the afternoon, the park is gorgeous and has a cafe on entrance and beside the play park. Our visited concentrated on the play park, which is large and well equipped for kids of all ages. Beside the park there is a cafe bar which sells reasonably priced food and drinks. I would like to return and explore more of the walks around the park as it was beautiful and well maintained. We walked to the marina afterwords which took about 30 minutes with kids. Highly recommend a visit here.

Expected this to have more colour but initial disappointment that it was all green and palm trees was somewhat overturned by the amazing cactus garden. It's worth coming here just to see that.
There's a great play area for children - my grandson would love it. We didn't see much in the way of wildlife - perhaps you have to be lucky to see the terrapins, or perhaps it needs to be a really sunny day - but the goats were out in their pen.
In a month or two, there will be jacarandas in flower and much more colour (drought restrictions allowing) but there will still be too many pigeons about - they were everywhere. Please don't feed them.
