More than the temple itself, we loved the spot where it is located with superb views over the coastline..

Amazing view of the countryside. We did not visit the temple thoroughly because it took some devotional service but the whole thing was smashing up. I recommend.

very serene place, had a nice chat with the caretaker about Buddhism and Hinduism for a few minutes, they run classes about Buddhism and yoga , if you have time better make use of it, very nice views from there, but its not everyone's cup of tea,

The Stupa looks great from the outside, unfortunately we arrived just after 2 pm when it was closed, it would not open till 4 pm. The view of the coastline by it self makes it worth visiting.

A place of total tranquility, blissfully serene. It is easy to get to by bus from Benalmadena and you could combine with a visit to the Butterfly World. It is almost like an out of body experience, so silent and meaningful.

You can easily get here on the local bus without taking one of the tours. It is next to the butterfly park. Very imposing and can be seen for miles away when you are walking on the main road/coast road area. Worth a visit.

We only saw this from the outside as we were visiting the butterfly park next door. It is a huge, impressive building, well with a look.

Accessible by public transport from the resorts, this was a highly rewarding and inspiring excursion. Impressive as a structure - inside and out - high up on the mountain, there is an amazing view down - see the life of the Buddha on the walls then sfter making a wish and lighting an incense stick look out from the terrace... As the largest stupa in Europe it is definitely worth seeing. Moreover, as it turns out, a buddhist temple does look well under the Mediterranean skies.

To be honest i have not been in but have driven past on many occassions and it is magnificent. It can be seen from so many places and is a landmark in Benalmadina.
