Unique in Europe: The 7th Continent is an aquarium with top open tanks where the natural sunlight reflected by the colored schools of fish, constantly reveals to you a special underwater show. In this place, rare species recover the same behaviour they used to have in their natural environment.Dive into the depths of the silent world faithfully recreated.

We'd had a couple of rainy days on hols and needed something indoors to occupy our 5 year old. It's a slightly odd place given what it is and where it is, as Talmont isn't exactly a destination, but all the same it's easily accessible,...More

Made a visit on a rainy afternoon to pass a couple of hours. A little dissapointing. Pretty basic aquarium with lots of small tropical fish and not enough of the bigger beasts. No external attractions.

The centre is well laid out and the large tanks are very impressive information is provided in English although demonstration and feeding times are all in French my kids thought that my basic translation was really funny though

We found it expensive and were back in the car park in about half an hour. Some of the specimens were ok, just not enough of them to justify the price.

Went during the first week of June so was still low season, some of the tanks were huge so at least everyone could see the different animals in them but they do have the smaller tanks too so be prepared to queue when it's busy...More

Son loves aquariums so it was obvious choice. Bit expensive but kids enjoyed it. Major downfall is names and descriptions of fish way too high on screens for kids to read. Should be lowered down. Otherwise good 1-2 hours on rainy day.
