Looking through TripAdvisor for a cooking class while in Bali, I came across the Anika cooking class. I was not disappointed at all. After my hotel pick up there were 3 of us in the car and we headed off to a local market. We had a small tour of the market and all the ingredients were explained to us.... More

With hotel pickup, light breakfast, market visit, return for food preparation and cooking before enjoying lunch (meal), the procedure is extremely well organized. And the meal was excellent! The instructor, as well as assistants, were very helpful in demonstrating how to prepare the spices and food. Definitely recommended for any visitor to Bali.

Very well organized. Impressive and delectable menu in a short time. Chef Komang was very informative, very experienced and excellent command of English. He was very familiar with the west as he was able to give the alternative ingredients in case it was not available here.

My daughter (17)and I had a lovely cooking experience together although my daughter only went along to please me , she loved the experience as I did . We both learnt along the way with a very passionate cook (with a very dry sense of humour). We started our trip to the fresh food market which was an eye opener... More

First we went to visit the market and got first hand experience about the different types of ingredients for Balinese Cooking. We then cooked our (with Balinese Chef's assistance) food using local methods. We then had a feast which left us more than satisfied and very full. We finished off with dessert. I would highly recommend this place due to... More

This was good value for money, referencing Trip Advisor entitled me to a 30% discount. It was extremely hot so I recommend you get them to turn the fans on as soon as you get there. The one draw back was myself and another lady had to prepare Turmeric and it left our nails yellow, The dye didn't come out... More

The day started off with being picked up at our hotel, from there we went and had a tour of the local market in Kuta to see the type of ingredients used in Balinese cooking. From there we were taken to the cooking school and were given a nice cool drink and morning tea. Then it was into the food... More
