Sounded like a good tour and we paid in advance through Viator. Waited and waited with no tour guide showing up! So frustrating. I called the Bermuda number, and a man casually said the tour was cancelled because not enough signed up. I asked why we had not been notified. He said we probably should have been. Will we get a refund? He didn’t know, but he thought we might. Luckily we found another local tour for a few hours later. Bermuda is lovely, and we enjoyed our visit, but tour communication needs to be more polished!

6.23.18 Stepped off of the Carnival Horizon and our amazing tour guide, Donovan, was waiting for us just a few yards away. Small group of 20 on a very comfortable air conditioned bus. In 5 hours, we covered a LOT of the island and Donovan was an excellent narrator, providing us with knowledge, answering our questions. We had frequent stops to shop or use restrooms. Having just one day in port, we wanted to maximize our learning and touring time. This was the perfect choice. Booked ahead through Carnival Excursions. Highly recommend and if you are lucky enough to have Donovan, you will be extremely blessed with his pleasant personality and thoughtful demeanor.

Wow Wow and More Wow! Thank you George! We had a wonderful tour with the gentleman of the hour - George! He made my Mother of 97 years feel like a princess! She had been a frequent visitor of Bermuda and he gave her a personal tour with the rest of our family that was special and a "memory Lane" tour. We went everywhere! We were worried to take her for the first time in a wheelchair and George made the tour so comfortable and personable that she felt like it was just for her! We had family of all ages and everyone had a great time. We even "LOST" one of our crew to the golf course when George took us to the Port Royal Golf Course. It was his first time losing a touring person but our cousin had a day of a lifetime due to George! What a wonderful person to have spent the day with and the history and ease of getting around with all 10 of us was so relaxing and rewarding. It was my responsibility to pull this day in Bermuda "OFF" so you can imagine how wonderful it was to relax and see everyone enjoying the trip with George. Thank you for giving me a vacation day too... we laughed and kidded around about the fun we had for the rest of the tour and now we talk about George as an honorary family member - so come for Thanksgiving George there is always room at our table for someone as special as you have been to all of us. Our best from the Mom/DeeDee tour group!

I very seldom write bad reviews, but this time it is warranted. I spent a lot of time trying to set up a tour of Bermuda for my parents and husband & I, but from start to finish it was so frustrating! It took days to hear back on each email I sent, many times I waited a couple days & resent the email asking if he got it, & finally he would respond. I'd ask him 3 or 4 questions & he would reply to 2 or 3. I couldn't get a clear answer on the price or anything. I kept asking if our tour was on and I still wasn't sure the morning of the tour (even though I had given him credit card info). He kept ignoring me or gave excuses like I didn't sign the contract.... well it's really hard to sign a contract when all you have is an iPhone & you are on a cruise ship, hence I kept emailing him before we left saying "we are leaving soon, I want to get the details clarified so I can send you the contract". Sure enough, we get off the ship at our designated meeting time & place and no George. I'm standing there with my 80+ year old parents and I can't find anyone from GAR. I've never worked so hard trying to set up a tour and I've never been left standing at the ship with no tour. ugh! The good news is, he was charging us $400 + and I ended up being able to arrange a fabulous tour with a taxi driver named Robert right there at the pier. Bottom line is, don't waste your time or energy trying to set up something with GAR tours. There are plenty of drivers right at the dock charging $50/hour. We had a great time for 1/2 the price.

I am hoping that you can help me. we took our tour on Wed 4-11-18. two of our attendees have health issues and could not find the van that we were traveling in. and since the folks are 6'8" and6'4" they would not have even been able to fit all 6 of us. we were not able to contact you while in Bermuda. Is there any way we can be refunded for those 2 folks. we had an excellent tour guide. Derek. he was so nice and so informative. I would really appreciate your help in this matter.
