This basilica is on Guadarrama range with basilica implanting into the mountain beneath the giant cross. The main hall is very huge with center locating the cross which is the same position of tge giant cross. Pictures/ video/ cameras are not allowed in the basilica....More

From parking area to Monument about half kilometer or 500 m. There was no alternative to climb to the top of the cross other than the funicular which is or was undergoing repairs.
