Awesome restaurants through out the square with great choices of different cuisines. Great shopping choices with antique options scattered through out. Fun events scheduled through out the year such as car shows, festivals, etc. Great atmosphere. Don't miss out on this.

This is a lovely way to spend time shopping, eating and walking the square. Downtown McKinney is especially festive during the holidays or their special events such as Octoberfest. Parking can at times be a challenge, but the square is worth the time spent looking for a spot to park. Ask those working in the shops what other places to... More

I've always found an antique to buy here and I am very selective. Also, they have great clothing shops. The dining is exceptional as well.

There are a lot of little shops, boutiques, and restaurants. It was very pretty (they still had some Christmas lights up which was very pretty). The houses around it were old well maintained beautiful houses. The only issue was with parking and crowds. It was very busy at all hours, we went around 4:00 pm when we first got to... More

I just love this area of town. You can walk and sight see or stop and shop a numerous shops and then sit for a bite to each at a variety of local restaurants.

Had the day off so my wife and I decided to do some exploring, and we chose Downtown McKinney. It was the day after Christmas and VERY busy. But we enjoyed ourselves walking around the square taking in the sights. Lots of history with modern touches. Just a word of caution: we went on a Monday, and several of the... More

Having an opportunity to enjoy access to a vibrant downtown area is a blessing. This builds a sense of community and the McKinney city management has provided year long activities for adults and families. The capital of Collin County has a bright future because some people had the foresight to sacrifice and plan.
