It doesn’t get much better than floating lazily along the river with all your closest friends with the sun shining and a cold drink in hand. At Don’s Fish Camp, we’ve been offering just that type of experience to folks all over Central Texas since 1990. Enjoying a day with us on the river is as easy as buying your passes, heading to Don’s supply shop for all your float supply needs, and hopping on our shuttle to head up river. From there, it’s all about relaxation, fun, and taking in the beautiful scenery on the San Marcos River. See you on the water!

I had a great time floating the river. The cypress trees and their roots along the sides of the San Marcos river are spectacular.

We went to Don's Fish Camp for a long river float. The nice thing about Don's is that they begin with the end in mind, meaning that you park your car at the end and are driven up to the launch site. This means that...More

Sure, there may be more popular or scenic places to float the Texas Hill Country, but this is one of the few that drives you to a dropoff and allows you to float back to camp. Why does that matter, you may ask? It means...More

Hi, the campsites looked to be fairly primitive, but we did not camp there. You walk past them on the way back to your car though. If you want to contact them directly their phone number is: (512) 357-1285. Good luck!

There are dogs allowed on the river and I don't think they have a problem with them at the camp. If you want to confirm, their phone number is (512) 357-1285. Have fun!!
