Marshall Pottery was founded in 1895, In 2015, it closed its small retail outlet and stoneware division. It is no longer open to the public, but it is actually the only factory in the USA still mass producing Terracotta Clay Flower pots. Most of the...More

Evidently they are only open to wholesale customers. I miss watching the guys making the pottery. If you have a shop or store, you may want to contact them, but if you just want to browse the old-time Marshall Pottery, you're out of luck.

Retail side is permanently closed. Sign on the door says. To say we were disappointed would be an understatement. Glad my MIL bought a few pieces for me years ago when they were still open

This is the place where the flower pots are made. You can see all kind of pots being made.. The unique gifts take up over a 1000 ft but the POTs are the thing.

We drove up and saw acres of pottery of all sizes. One can assume a lot of the items will get shipped or sold to other retailers. The inside held the area where the pottery was made and fired. Would have been very interesting to...More

I'm not sure but the place looked like they were going out of business. Mostly bare shelves. What was there was junk and not worth buying. I remembered something totally different from my childhood and this wasn't it!

Sad day a company founded 120 years ago in a small Texas town is closing due to cheap imports from China. How bad is it when a company founded in 1895 has to close their door because China can make a cheap red clay pot,...More

Excellent bargains on clay pottery. Actually drove a couple of hours out of the way; twice this past month to make purchases.
