We visited the viewing center 2 nights in a row. We saw the lights both nights. I even viewed the lights through magnified pair of binoculars. they were definitely not car lights. I can't say what they were but I can say they were very...More

The Texas High Desert has a magic all its own. The night I went out, there were no lights, but it was beautiful and hushed and other-worldly just the same. Also, the full moon rose behind us (there were about 50+ people there) like a...More

Didn't know if we would see anything, but as promised, the mystery lights appeared, and disappeared, and reappeared and sub-divided and all of the mysterious things we went to see. Nice facility for viewing.

I have gone to see the lights many a times. Sometimes, sober and sometimes not sober. Anyway, I am going to give you my version of what the lights are? They are 2 or 3 group of family members, each with some sort of light...More

Ok, so this isn't really an exhibit. More or less, it's just an area for UFO citing. I have been like three times, and seen the lights once. Residents say that the lights exist, some anyway, and they might, but even seeing them, I found...More

Didn't see the lights but something you have to try if in the area. The viewing spot was more developed than I expected and maybe even a little too much. Stayed for only 30 minutes as it was late. No lights. Maybe next time

Weather was finally clear enough on our weekend trip. Very nice viewing station with benches. We arrived a little before 10 and did see some lights. Not sure what they were, but it certainly wasn't a car.

The viewing area is nice. Bring chairs - and a blanket or jacket even in July! We went around 10:00 pm and stayed for a little less than an hour because we were not prepared for the cool evening. We were advised to go as...More

The lights weren't present and at best are very rare to appear, but the view doesn't disappoint especially for stargazing on a new moon night when its completely dark.

We stopped here after midnight on our way south from Ft. Davis. We did appreciate the mysterious aspects of the reported phenomenon but didn't witness anything more than car head and tail lights in the distance to the right side of the landmark radio tower.

It's open all the time because it is basically a roadside park positioned to give a good view of the lights. The lights come out at dusk so don't go there during the day.....you won't see them then!

I don't recall any overnight parking or RV sites. Marfa isn't far, however, and you could stay there.
