We had a couple of days off and took a road trip to Horseshoe Bay and Marble Falls. This place is just beautiful with good variety of places to eat. The view of the river is very nice too. There are events pretty much year round, But you must find time to see the lake.

My husband and I have been to Marble Falls many times at different times of the year. We go to the Walkway of Lights along Lake Marble Falls every year. The winter holiday light display is just as beautiful as the light display in Austin but without the unruly crowds. We always eat dinner at one of the local restaurants.

Lake water was superb. As always. A bit cludy and cool so minimal boating. Early morning arrival provided us "galss smooth waters".

Lake Marble Falls is just beautiful. Right on the south edge of town, it is a gem of a place. Homes and lodging all along the shore. It is a great place to stay. A great place to play. A great place to see. Just gorgeous.

The City of Marble Falls sits on a lovely lake. Smaller than lake LBJ but also calmer. It is usually not that crowed unless there are boat races or a fishing tournament. Boat and ski rentals are available at the marina. The area is super casual so you can leave your tie and heels at home. Great for couples of... More

Lake Marble Falls is a quiet lake that is long and wide enough for boat sports. It is usually not very busy. It is also deep enough so as not have to worry about low areas. Site of the annual August drag boat races.

Lake Marble Falls isn't the biggest lake in the area but it's a great place to go water skiing. Beautiful too!

The beautiful drive from Austin is just a hint at what awaits you at Lake Marble Falls. This place is quiet, calm, laid back and beautiful. The public park is well maintained and the water is just amazing with the picturesque views of the hills behind the lake. I have been here several times but visited again for Lake Fest... More

Great lake to take the family and in in a great small town tops it all off. Generally a fairly quiet lake. Annual Boat races at the lake every year. Really neat event.
