This is a great family park. We visited in January. There is a frisbee golf course that my husband enjoys. There are some large ponds for recreational boaters. We plan on going again in the summer.

Thanks for the Trip Advisor review-However, I think you may have visited Village Creek State Park in Arkansas rather than ours in Lumberton, Texas since our park does not have a Frisbee golf course or large ponds for recreational boaters.

Looking for a place to camp off route 10 in eastern Texas. Took a risk and he added towards the national park outside of Beaumont, TX. We drove up 20 minutes before they closed and got a spot and settled and content for the night....More
