Oil museum was under repair. The pump jack Trail was very cute but if your going to hand out brochures could you at least as a city paint them so people could enjoy them.

A well-spent dollar (per person) for a look around some artefacts giving a feel for what life was like around the time of oil being found here. Worth a stop if you're travelling along I-10.

It was a memorable experience to know the history of Texas oil revolution and well kept museum for visitors in a small town to refresh your knowledge about local history related to oil industry.

Great experience. We love to visit museums and historical sites. This gives an in depth history of the town and history that goes with.

A great display of what this industry did for the area.Take some time to look around the sleepy town and go back in time. (they accept donations)

We stopped here on our way back to Houston from San Antonio. We didn't expect much, but enjoyed reading about the history of this small town. The museum is free and is located in an old store. Loved all of the old pictures!
