Luckenbach, TX became "famous" when Waylon and Willie sang about it back in the 70's. Its considered part of Fredericksburg, Tx, but is about as far away in attitude from Fredericksburg as you can get. Fredericksburg is Bed-N-Breakfasts, Antiquing and sort of casually ritzy. Luckenbach...More

We decided to stop by near noon. We grabbed some food. Husband had a burger and I had a brat. Just ordinary, but good. We sat and listened to some guys playing and singing. Great way to spend a hot noon hour!

I don't live far from here so I sometimes stop by during the week and get a beer and pitch washers. I have been here on the weekends and enjoy looking at the used hats. I recommend coming during the off hours unless you just...More

We loved this little place as part of a bus tour of Hill Country. I think it is a big draw for lovers of Country music due to its history. Shop, Bar, food van, music stage, restrooms and car park. That's it!

What do you get when you combine a dance hall, live music, delicious Texas B-B-Q and cold beer under 100 year old live oaks with family and friends (some of whom you just met). A great day in central Texas! A must see if you...More

Fun little place with good music and cold beer. It took us a long time to find it...driving everywhere until finally pulling into the lot. It's not a town anymore as I expected but more of a mini Opryland type of experience.

I deeply love Lukenbach! It's quaint. It's charming. It's fun. It's laidback. It's 100% Texan. It's country. It's pure all ameican. It's romantic. It's like a scene out of a movie. Drink a beer (bring cash) and listen to excellemt music. Heads up- make sue...More

In the very Heart of Texas - Luckenbach has a ghost-town feel with its small population of 3 and strong western ethic. One of its two main buildings houses the remnants of a post office, a working saloon, and a general store. The other is...More

For day or afternoon, kids would be okay. The evening for certain events might be 21 and up. I highly recommend the Music, Wine, & Foodtruck Fest they have there for a great family event....
